Angyvir Padilla (Caracas, 1987) is a Venezuelan visual artist and designer based currently in Brussels, Belgium.
Her work departs from a continuous questioning of memory and the passage of time which is manifested through a broad of mixed-media objects and immersive installations that revolve around notions of belonging, global displacement and memory.
The way of presenting and treating her objects and materials in relation to space grant many inroads and possibilities for emotional connections to the viewer which allows me to rely on what materials and objects say without pushing them.
