Estudió en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y Universidad de la Laguna en Tenerife. Vive y trabaja en Berlín, donde ella y el artista Christopher Kline dirigen el project space Kinderhook & Caracas.

En los últimos años, Sol Calero ha desarrollado un conjunto de instalaciones totalmente inmersivas que llevan su exploración pictórica a un nivel espacial y contextual.
