My name is Maria Eugenia Salas Sellanes. But they call me Neya. I am Venezuelan.
Although my daily work revolves around advertising and audiovisual media, my personal work shows small stories in illustration and video with references to everyday life, that which normally happens. It is born from the love, suffering and humor that anyone faces and overcomes the trials of everyday life. Everything with a lot of anxiety, illusion and desire to have a good time.
My interest is to create images and texts, animations that reflexively validate the human experience with a playful eye and create empathy with the viewer from my proposal.
The situation of the country forced me to emigrate and for the last 3 years I have been moving around Latin America. I currently live in Montevideo.
