Rómulo Peña (Coro, Venezuela, 1982).
His contact with photography began in 2002 in a self-taught way. His main interest is pinhole photography and other analogical means to obtain the image, which allow him to approach documentary topics from an experimental approach.
He began his exhibition career in 2007. Among the most outstanding national collective exhibitions are mentioned: Salón Nacional de Arte Aragua in its 32, 34 and 38 editions; in the Museum of Contemporary Art Mario Abreu, Maracay, Edo. Aragua (2007, 2009 and 2013) the Biennial Arturo Michelena in its 64 and 65 editions in Valencia, Edo. Carabobo (2008 and 2010); the Salón Jóvenes con FIA, editions XVII and XX, Ciudad Banesco. Caracas, 2014 and Museum of Contemporary Art of Zulia, Maracaibo, 2017, the 9th National Biennial of Photography of the Girardot Municipality, Municipal Art Gallery. Maracay, Aragua, 2012; the V Biennial of Art of Maracaibo Museum of Contemporary Art of Zulia, Maracaibo, 2009 and the National Hall of Photography Espacio GAF in its 1st, 3rd and 4th edition in the Museum of Modern Art, Cultural Center Tulio Febres Cordero and in the Museum of Modern Art Juan Astorga Anta in Merida, (2013, 2015 and 2016).
