Santiago Méndez (1998) is a photographer who lives in Caracas. He explores and approaches identity by experimenting with cultural and social values. He briefly studied Social Communication and Plastic Arts while training as a self-taught photographer. As an artist, his research and interests revolve around themes such as everyday life, belonging and ethnicity, evoking nature, modernism and spirituality. He develops photography with an editorial character and applies it in the production of fashion projects together with Venezuelan brands and artists.
Published in national magazines such as Estampas, Luster and Statement Magazine. He is a winner of international awards and scholarships, participating in international group exhibitions with his series Territorio in Asia and Europe.
