Born and raised in Basel, Switzerland, Louise Claire Wagner moved to Paris in 2012, where she graduated with a degree in Social Sciences and Urban Studies. It was during this time that she developed her passion for photography, which led to her first prize at the Culturel Nomade Festival, a solo exhibition and participation in several group exhibitions.
In 2014, he visited Japan and fell instantly in love with the country. So he focused on research on Japanese urban planning, which gave him the opportunity to approach culture and society, to study its architecture, to travel between Paris and Tōkyō, and to capture new images. In 2016, she was named one of the 30 UNDER 30 WOMEN PHOTOGRAPHERS by ARTPIL and in 2017, she showed in different galleries and spaces of Paris two chapters of her photographic series of Tōkyō : An Other Look at Harmony and In-Between Somewhere.
In 2019, he exhibited an additional There and Then, Here and Now chapter on Tōkyō and joined the TOKYO-GA / TOKYO CURIOSITY project.
In 2020, she was nominated for the 2020 Leica Oskar Barnack Award in the Newcomer category.
