Born in 1993, Magdalena Froger grew up in Paris.
After obtaining a literary baccalaureate, she moved towards an artistic practice by integrating the preparatory school of art Atelier de Sèvres. In the same vein, she entered the ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) in 2013 in the cinema section and continued her studies with a Master’s degree in Visual Art. Her practice is multidimensional, she works the medium of film and painting in parallel.
Her first films Les Intranquilles (2017) and Abigail (2018) won prizes at the Locarno Festival. Since then, Magdalena lives and works in Paris.
