Artist-researcher, Joanna Wong’s works revolve around an organic setting with living organisms. Certain freedom is granted to the materials as they evolve with time. Her installations are processes of balance between control and freedom. Like fruit-picking and breeding, her artistic universe écohoes with farming and cooking.
Currently working towards a PHD in visual arts at the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne, she is a founding member of Collectif Enoki which promotes artistic activities related to food and ecology.
